The earliest I have managed to trace back in the Holt line is 1757 and William Holt. I have continued the Holt line up to the present day.

William Holt - b 1757 in Radford. Married to Mary ? b 1760.Two sons William Holt  b 28/07/1782 and John Bostock Holt b 11/05/1788. One Daughter Phebe Bostock Holt b 29/08/1790.

William Holt - Baptised St. Peters Radford 1782 (framework knitter) married in 1805 to Agnes Gibson  St. Peters Radford. Sons James b 1815 and William b 1817.

James Holt - (weaver) 1815 Baptised St. Peters Radford - died Nottingham March 1851. Served in the Royal Marines from 1836-1840. father of James Holt b 1832.

James Holt - son of the above was born in Nottingham 1832, He was in the Cavalry as a Corporal in the 4th Light Dragoons. He joined up in 1855 and got the Crimean and Turkish medals. He married Hannah Maria Webb (b Towcester 1839) in Sept 1859 in Coventry. In 1865 he bought himself out of the army whilst based in Dundalk, Ireland his regiment then being named- The 4th Queens Own Hussars .His wife passed away in June of 1921 in Nottingham. They had Two children Matilda born 1862 in Coventry and George born 1873 in Nottingham.

George Holt - Born Nottingham 1873 died ? Married in Nottingham 1891 to Sarah Clifford (b Nottingham 1870 d Nottingham 1914) .He was employed as a Collier. They had Three children Rose ( b 1890), Lottie (b 1900) and George Levi b 1892.

George Levi Holt - Born Nottingham 1892 died ? Served in the 1st WW with the Sherwood Foresters Regiment, Married Nottingham 1927 to Mabel Ward of Nottingham. They had Three children -  George Joseph b 1927, Arthur b 1929 and Sheila b 1931.

George Joseph Holt - Born Nottingham March 1927 died Nottingham 2004. Married Phylis Helen Gray in 1956. They had Three children Jonathan Ashley (b 1959), Stella (b 1961) and Georgiana (b 1965). In his working life he was employed as a Groundsman.

Jonathan Ashley Holt - Born Nottingham February 1959, Married in Bangkok Thailand to Lamyai Toykratoak (b 1971). They have One Son Sorawit (b 1997).

Sorawit Yui Holt - Born Bangkok April 1997, attends the Nottingham Bluecoat Church of England School.
